College Early Admission Is Tougher Than Ever
With some exceptions (Yale and Brown), many colleges rejected early applicants rather than deferring them to the regular decision pool. We appreciate those admission officials who decided to err on the side of being realistic and release those students they have no intention of admitting. The other trend to quickly emerge is that the overall caliber of the early applicants has once again improved.
